Details

    ○ Korea ? Philippines has 5 Major Sea Cable Route
          (FIVE (5) MAJOR ROUTE: APCN - II, APCN, SMW-III, FEA, CTC)
   
    ○ Latency and Structure on 5 Major Sea Cable
        1.) APCN - II: 100ms Ring Type/Mesh Network/SHR
        2.) APCN: 60ms, Direct Line, IPLC
        3.) FEA: 60ms, Direct Line, IPLC
        4.) SMW-III: 60ms, Direct Line, IPLC
        5.) CTC: Through Singapore, No clients choose these.

Description of Ring Type Structure

The system consists of a ring of bidirectional links between a set of stations, typically using Optical fiber communications. In normal use, traffic is dispatched in the direction of the shortest path towards its destination. In the event of the loss of a link, or of an entire station, the two nearest surviving stations "loop back" their ends of the ring. In this way, traffic can still travel to all surviving parts of the ring, even if it has to travel "the long way round". A second break in the ring will divide it into two sub-rings, but each sub-ring will remain functional.

Rings Structure offer high levels of resilience at low cost, since it is often geographically easy to take multiple paths across the landscape and link them up into a ring with very little extra fiber length. FCM - II submarine communications cables are built in pairs, to function as a self-healing ring. Very high resilience systems are typically built on interconnected meshes of self-healing rings. Resilient Packet Ring is a new technology for packet-switched self-healing ring networks.

  ○ Direct Line/IPLC Major Fault needs and/or consume 3 to 4 hours for changing major route, and happens 1 ? 2 times every year.

Pre-Evaluation Activities

Secured filled up and signed application form for KTNetworks Corp. Internet service upon customer’s signing of proposal, and secure approval of KTNetworks Philippines Corp.

Proposed Connection to your Company

The network between your company and KTNetworks Philippines Corp. Internet node at San Antonio Village, Makati City shall be via another third party.

Service Level Commitment

System Up-time and Availability: 99%

KTNetworks Philippines Corp. service package as herein described is engineered to maintain the committed service to your Company at 99% of any calendar month based on 24 x 7 x 365 operations subject to the limitations as herein provided.

Implementation Period

Timetable of installation will be on a mutually agreeable date to be ascertained after the final confirmation of the availability and operability of your companies cable entrance facility, conduit, house wire and router. This shall calculated by the number of days the third party install the primary line and the number of days of configurations on both side and upon receipt of signed proposal  and application form, upon approval of KTNetworks Corp, upon settlement of the one-time installation charge to commence the installation.

Validity of Proposal

Proposal is valid for thirty (30) days excluding the PHP/USD exchange rate that may change monthly as regulated by NTC. CITS Corp. reserve the right to adjust/change any in this proposal without prior notice after the 30-day period unless otherwise extended in writing by KTNetworks.

Technical Considerations

KTNetworks Shall:
 
1.) Provide free 5-calendar day’s confidence applications test, counted from date of activation of the service.
When the customer reject the service, the customer should send a written notice to that effect of KTNetworks Corp. within the 5-calendar days confidence applications test, stating the reason for rejection.

When the customer fails or refuses to either accept or reject the service in a manner and within the period referred above, the customer shall be considered to have accepted the service. In which case, billing of the service rendered shall start on the 6th day following the 5-calendar day’s confidence applications test.
2.) Upon activation of the service, secure service acceptance from the customer.
3.) Provide free of charge maintenance service on an on-call basis during office hours up to the modem.
4.) Provide 24 x 7 x 365 customer care service through telephone number: (+632)899.33.33 (+632)491.02.22/(+632)491.02.21; Messenger: core.it@hotmail.com
5.) To ensure KTNetworks Corp. continuous provision of high quality data service to include quick responsiveness to complaints, any and all complaints made by Customer regarding the quality of service rendered shall be made known to and recorded by KTNetworks Corp. and corrective measures thus taken should be similarly recorded and made known to Customer. This way, KTNetworks Corp. can address any claim by the Customer regarding the totality of the quality of service. Thus, the parties agree that CITS Corp. is conclusively deemed to have provided customer a high quality of service if the complaints made by the Customer have been properly addressed by KTNetworks Corp. as shown by the written communications between the parties regarding said complaints.
6.) 요금 반환 제도 :KT의 국제 국간이나 로컬에 대한 장애 컨트롤을 담당하게 됨에 따라 신속한 장애처리가 가능하고, 만일의 장애가 1시간 이상 발생할 경우 해당 요금을 반환함
7.) 서비스품질보증제도(SLA)
        상기의 보상제도와는 별도로 서비스품질보증제(Service Level Agreement)를 병행 시행함으로써
고객이 신뢰하고 서비스를 이용하도록 안정성 높은 서비스 제공합니다.
사용자가 KTNetworks으로부터 제공받은 국제전용회선을 사용할 수 없다는 뜻을 KTNetworks에 통지 또는 KTNetworks가  알게 된 날로부터 계속 2시간 이상 사용하지 못한 때에 사용하지 못한 기간에 해당하는 요금의 최저 1배의 금액을 고객에게 배상
*품질보증구간 : 국제구간(Pop-Pop)

Client

1.) Provide free of charge to KTNetworks Corp., the entrance cable facility, in-house cable, conduit, and work permit.
2.) Provide the router with Fast Ethernet or Fiber Port and arrange the connection of KTNetworks Corp. modem.
3.) Provide adequate power supply including UPS/AVR unit to KTNetworks Corp. provided modem to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted operations.
4.) Signify acceptance of the service upon successful 5 days confidence application test.
5.) Report to customer care center through telephone: (+632)899.33.33 (+632)491.02.22/(+632)491.02.21; Messenger: core.it@hotmail.com all technical concern.

Commercial Considerations

Client

1.) Upon approval of KTNetworks Corp., settle the one-time installation charge to commence the installation.
2.) Upon successful confidence application test and acceptance of the service settle the advance payment to commence the full activation of service. The advance payment shall be applied to the last month of the contract term upon receipt of 30-day prior written notice of service termination.
3.) To avoid disruption of service plus settlement of interest at the rate of 2% per month on the unpaid amount, shall settle the monthly recurring rate (MRR) on or before due date stated in the billing statement.
4.) When the customer downgrade or pre-terminate the contract without just or valid cause, will settle KTNetworks Philippines Corp.. an amount equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the remaining balance of the contract term.
5.) When the customer cancels the service after the installation has started or has been completed before service commences, the OTC shall be forfeited in favor of KTNetworks Corp.

KTNetworks Shall:

1.) Bill the fixed monthly recurring charge upon acceptance of the service.
2.) When the customer fails to pay the monthly recurring rate within the credit term period, KTNetworks Corp. has the right, without incurring any liability, to suspend or temporarily disconnect the service until the unpaid charges are paid in full.
3.) Notwithstanding the signing of this conformed, KTNetworks Corp. reserves the right amends the quoted investment summary above due to additional equipment that may be necessary for a successful installation. Likewise, the customer has the right to defer or cancel the affected circuit or link as a result of this amendment.

Duration of Agreement


This agreement shall take effect upon signing of proposal, upon full activation of service, and terminating twelve months (12) thereafter. Termination of the service shall require either party to give a minimum of 30 days advance notice, otherwise this agreement is automatically renewed and shall be in effect for another twelve (12) months.
